Vegan Cinnamon Roll Recipe


8 large rolls


4 cups all purpose flour

2 tablespoons baking powder

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 cup room temp. solid coconut oil

3/4 cup non dairy milk

3/4 cup cold water

1/3 cup melted vegan butter




Preheat oven to 400°F

Add dry ingredients and coconut oil to a blender and pulse until crumbly

Add milk and water, blend until a dough is formed

Take dough out of blender and knead it into a ball

Roll out the dough into a rectangle roughly 1 inch thick

Spread the melted butter all over the dough, and sprinkle the amount of cinnamon and sugar you desire over the butter

Roll the dough into a long log, pinching all the ends and seams together

Cut into 8 pieces

Place pieces in a non stick baking dish, or a greased baking dish

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until fully cooked

Glaze Recipe


2 cups powdered sugar

2 tablespoons melted vegan butter

4 teaspoons hot water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch sea salt


Add powered sugar to the melted butter, and mix with a fork

Add the rest of ingredients and mix until smooth

Place a spoonful on each roll just as it comes out of the oven, and let it melt over the roll

Tip: If you prefer a hard glaze, take the rolls out of the oven 15 minutes early and put the glaze on, then place back in the oven for the remaining 15 minutes
